If you have come all the way to participate in the classic Victoria Falls Marathon, stay for another 5 days and join us for 3, small scale, marathons: Botswana, Zambia and Namibia. Full, half or 10 km available. All marathons are official and meet the guidelines of Marathon Globetrotters. They are run on short out and back loops (generally a 4.2 km loop).

You will not only get to see another three beautiful countries, with safaris and various activities, you will be contributing to the local welfare of the people in the region. For example, in Zambia, like last year, we will host the event at a local primary school in Livingstone – sponsoring lunch for all the pupils (student attendance rates, normally at 50-60%, shoot up to 100% on the 2 days of the week that the school is able to provide a free meal) and runners donating small, but very appreciated, bits and pieces – some running gear, a cap, a backpack…

Itinerary items:

• 5 nights in high quality accommodation.
• 3 Marathons: Botswana Marathon, Zambia Marathon and Namibia Marathon.
• Meals and drinks with meals
• All transfers, excluding to/from airports.
• Half day safari in Chobe, Botswana – one of Africa’s top destinations for Safaris.
• Sunset Game Cruise on the Chobe River.
• Many exciting optional activities at our last stop in Livingstone, Zambia.

Tour overview:

Victoria Falls – Kasane; Botswana. Early start. Safari in the morning, lunch at Mowana Safari Resort, then a 3 hour Sunset game cruise on the Chobe river.

Marathon in Kasane, then transfer to Katima Mulilo, Caprivi Strip, Namibia. Accommodation by the river.

Namibia marathon, then transfer to Livingstone, Zambia.

Rest day in Livingstone, and a plethora of activities to chose from.
